Worship

Our people are an important part of God’s work at All Saints. We have several time- and skill-friendly opportunities to serve in various ministries essential to make it all happen. Please consider setting aside an hour or two per week, (hopefully) once a month, in these areas:

ACOLYTES: Processing with the cross at the beginning and end of services; serving with Fr. Tom on the altar during communion, optionally doing the second scripture reading.

ALTAR GUILD: Helping set up the altar both before and after worship, in addition to a few other important aspects of preparation.

MUSICIANS: Providing a musical offering as a prelude, offertory, and/or postlude. All musical instruments welcome!

USHERS: Welcoming those coming to church services, handing out bulletins, taking attendance, and helping to clear the sanctuary following worship.

READERS: Reading aloud our first scripture reading and Psalm; possibly the second scripture reading and leading our Prayers of the People and Parish Intercessions.

WATERING: Our Resurrection Garden has been lovingly re-landscaped by parishioners Josephine Chung and Gemma Won, and they are regularly keeping up the grounds.

During warm-weather months, we’d love to have folks come in on specific days and spend 10-15 minutes watering the area. It’s easy … and peaceful!

LIVE-STREAM HOSTS: Setting up and monitoring our Zoom live-streamed service from the choir loft, hosting the online service, and signing off at the conclusion of worship.
