The mission of the Prayer Shawl Ministry at All Saints (the "Knit Wits") is to prayerfully knit (or crochet) shawls to give to others, both within and outside our church community, as a symbol of God's love and abiding presence in both difficult and happy transitions in one's life. Recent shawls have been given to individuals coping with illness and bereavement as well as to celebrate weddings and graduations. "Knit Wits" meets the second Tuesday morning of every month at 10:30 a.m.- 12 p.m. in the library/guild room. We come with our latest ongoing projects to pray for and encourage each other and for a group blessing for each completed shawl and its recipient. Anyone interested in knitting or crocheting a shawl (or other item to give with prayer and love, such as a baby blanket, hats or scarves for the homeless, etc.) is welcome to join us. Questions? Contact the church office and ask to be put in touch with Linn Pedersen.
